Arop is organizing an exclusive private tour at the Palais Garnier of the PROJET 12 exhibition, curated by architect Aline Asmar of Amman, to showcase the previously unseen works created by the 12 artists who participated in the residency program at the theater last year.

Each month in 2025, to mark the 150th anniversary of the Palais Garnier, an artist was hosted in residence at the heart of the theater. PROJET 12 echoes the visionary spirit of Charles Garnier, who, during the construction of the Opera House, brought together the greatest artists of his time to enhance this architectural masterpiece. Fully immersed in the experience, the artists, in turn, had the opportunity to experience the daily life of the Paris Opera, discovering its performances, its backstage areas, and the many talents that bring its heritage to life.

These exclusive works will be offered for sale by Sotheby’s in Paris on December 3, 2026, with proceeds benefiting the Opéra national de Paris. This initiative will allow patrons and art lovers to support contemporary art and contribute to the institution’s global influence.
